Biography 

Who better to help Indie artists than a girl from Indy herself. Katrien Vanderbeck is an artist, songwriter, and artist coach here in Nashville TN. She is originally from Carmel, IN, and moved down here 4 years ago to get her start in the music industry. She has a Bachelors in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Music Business and has studied vocally both classical and commercial music. Upon entering the music scene Katrien found a passion for songwriting and helping artists to work on their careers and now pursues those ventures as well as her artist career. She has written and performed now with hit songwriters, Jan Buckingham (Lee Greenwood, Whitney Houston, Tim McGraw, Pam Tillis), Danny Wells (George Straight) etc and many others.  She made her radio debut in 2018 on WSM Radio on the Midnight Jamboree tribute to George Strait. Katrien’s singer/songwriter and country influences balance well with her passion for a good lyric and she is able to tell a story that will send any cowboy home to his family.

Katrien's style embodies that of a Caffeinated Ashley McBride, with emotional lyrics with a pop flair and a melody that is classic country. Her songs are very personal and typically are written about her day to day life. Katrien has a passion for all music and writes for a variety of styles and artists. She has worked with independent label companies such as Thirty Tigers and Indie Connect and now consults with independent artists in the Nashville scene. She has helped to release 6 singles of varying genres within the past 6 months, for artists she works with. Katrien’s drive and exuberance distinguish her from the Nashville noise and set her apart from the crowd. She embodies the creative abilities of an artist while having the mind of a budding businesswoman. Her goal is to help spread music that tells a message and be heard in the business.
